2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R

2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R
A couple days ago Porsche released a press statement saying that it will unveil a new “mid-engine sports car” at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show, it’s 2011 Porsche Cayman R. The Porsche alphabet reserves the letter R for very special sports cars: R for responsive and refined – but most especially for racy. The new Cayman R combines all these attributes without compromise. 2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R has further developed the car by reducing weight, increasing horsepower and raising agility and handling to new heights.
Weighing 55 kg less than the equivalent Cayman S, and the new mid-engine coupé from Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, is designed for spectacular road behaviour, the 330 hp Porsche Cayman R has been created for one reason: pure, distilled driving dynamics. With its highly-tuned sports suspension and vigilant attention to weight savings, the new Cayman model offers a driving experience even more precise than that of the acclaimed Cayman S. The 2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R makes its world debut today at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R
Power for the 2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R comes from a tuned 3.4L inline 6-cylinder engine making a total of 330-hp allowing for a 0-62 mph time of 5 seconds when mated to a 6-speed manual and 4.9 seconds when mated to Porsche’s 7-speed PDK transmission. Adding the optional Sport Chrono packages brings the 0-62 mph time down to 4.7 seconds. Top speed for the 2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R comes in at 175 mph with a 6-speed manual and 174 mph with the PDK.
For interior 2011 Porsche Sport Cars Cayman R has features Alcantara and leather upholstery, sport seats, strap door handles and a painted console color-keyed to the exterior. Under the skin, the suspension has been enhanced with shorter, more rigid springs and there are customized anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles (the ride height is about 20 millimeters lower than the Cayman S).

The most powerful Porsche in the history ! Already in Moscow

Porsche 911 GT2 RS

On the Moscow showroom public could see for the first time the most expensive Porsche which has appeared in scale of the German manufacturer of sport cars. For the price in 377 000 usd is possible to buy two base 911. In the indexes, which Porsches designates the models, it is simple to get confused, therefore we will remind: versions GT3 are the most powerful, and here GT2 is not limited in turbo-power, and a novelty – the most powerful road Porsche in the history. Its 3,6-liter with two turbines gives out 620 h.p. Even at superpenalty Carrera GT was on 8 forces less. The newly made leader surpasses the former leader In a twisting moment even more considerably: 700 against 590 Nm.

Neither all-wheel drive transmission, nor robot PDK for this 911 GT2 RS is not provided. And whether these knots so high capacity – still a question are calculated. And a rear wheel drive with mechanics constrain dynamics a little: to 100 km/h of superpenalties is dispersed for 3,5 sec that on 0,2 sec worse, than 911 Turbo S with the robotized box and a drive gear on all wheels. Though last on 90 forces is weaker. But type 330 km/h can only 911 GT2 RS. However, the main advantage of this car even in other. On Northern hinge strain of a Nurnburgring nowadays laid off version GT2 without a prefix «RS» won at «Turbo» whole 17 sec. The novelty will win even more. And business not only in the forced engine.

In any other version of Porsche there is no such quantity of the decisions reducing weight: a rear screen from plastic, a boot lid – from carbon, steel details of a suspender have given way to the aluminum. For an additional payment a doors also possible to replace on carbon. Even the accumulator was replaced with easy lithium-ionic. As a result the weight of the car managed to be reduced to 1370 kg that on 70 kg it is easier than base Porsche 911 GT2.

Outwardly to learn the most powerful Porsche it is possible on the front bumper actually entirely representing an air intake, a black boot lid and a large rear wing behind.

This new champion on capacity among Porsche becomes still bigger rarity, than roadster Carrera GT. If last has dispersed on the world in circulation of 1 270 copies novelties will exhaust only in 500 pieces.

Porsche Cayenne S speedHYBRID 450 by speedART

German tuner speedART has a new tuning kit for the Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid.

SpeedArt now offers a power enhancement package that adds an additional 70 HP, so that the total output (gas engine with electric motor) rises up to 450 HP. The performance of the speedHYBRID 450 is much better than the one of the Cayenne S and the 0-60 time is improved to 6.0 Sec. and the maximum speed rises up to 156mph. This means a plus of 6mph compared to the original Cayenne S Hybrid and a plus of 13mph compared to the usual V6.

This power boost allows the speedART Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid to hit 62 mph (100 Km/h) from a standstill in 6.0 seconds instead of 6.5 seconds, while the maximum speed increased with 6 mph (10 km/h) more than the standard version, now being rated at 156 mph (252 km/h).

The looks of the car apart from those blue graphics, is most affected by the new wheels. They are type LSC-FORGED 22-inch, and you can choose the color for them. They come in size 9,5×22“ and 275/30 ZR22“ tyres for front and for the rear axle with 11×22“ and 315/30 ZR22“. speedHYBRID also features electronic lowering module for its air suspension.

Interior upgrades are limited to a new turbo pressure gauge mounted on the dashboard and a grey finish for the rev counter on the instrument panel.

Press Release

speedART speedHYBRID 450

The latest innovation of the Porsche Tuner speedART from Rutesheim near Stuttgart is called speedHYBRID 450 which is based on the new Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid. Please find attached an overview on the Tuning activities done by speedART:

Performance:

speedART offers for the V6 compressor engine a power enhancement with additional 70 HP, so that the system effort (petrol engine with electric motor) rises up to 450 HP and 570 NM. Regarding the performance, the effort of the speedHYBRID 450 is much better than the one of the Cayenne S. The speed-up decreases from 6.5 Sec. down to 6.0 Sec. and the maximum speed rises up to 252 Km/h. This means a plus of 10 Km/h compared to the original Cayenne S Hybrid and a plus of 22 Km/h compared to the usual V6.

The electric mode stays unaffected by the power enhancement. The speedHYBRID can be driven in the Zero-Emission-Mode as economical and as efficient as the original Cayenne Hybrid. Of course the function of the Sport- and the E-Power-Button stays the same, only that, when needed 70 hp more power for a sporty drive are available.

Sound:

speedART offers for the Hybrid a sport exhaust with sound switch and 2x100 mm tail pipes. This highlights the sportive sound of the V6-compressor and the power enhancement gets also acoustically underlined. The sport exhaust system with sound switch can be ordered for all Cayenne models with petrol engine. A sport exhaust system for the Diesel is also availiable.

Wheels:

In combination with the sporty driving performance 22“wheels, type LSC-FORGED will be mounted. This forged and weight optimized modular 3-piece wheel set is available for the front axle with 9,5x22“ and 275/30 ZR22“ tyres and for the rear axle with 11x22“ and 315/30 ZR22“. The painting of the centre star can be individually chosen by the customer. Due to the special forging technology the weight of the LSC-wheels is on the same level as the weight of a cast 21“ wheel, so that there is no higher consumption caused by the bigger wheels.

Aerodynamic:

The innovative speedHYBRID?-concept is underlined by the sporty blue foliation, which causes together with the white base colour a sporty, modern and environment friendly image.

Two different body kits for the new Cayenne models are in preparation and will be presented contemporary, so that individual customer choices can be satisfied.

Suspension:

For cars with air-ride system an electronic lowering kit module will be offered and for cars with conventional suspension lowering springs can be ordered.

Interieur:

For the compressor motor a special turbo pressure gauge will be mounted on the car dashboard, so that turbo pressure can be observed all the time. Of course this is used in combination with a blue instrumental dial, which replaces also the grey instrumental dial of the centre rev counter from the original tachometer.

2010 Porsche Sports Car Panamera Rivage GT 970 by Hofele Design

Hofele-Design, has released its latest tuning kit for the 2010 Porsche Panamera Rivage GT 970. The Porsche Panamera Rivage has designed German Tuner Hofele-Design with this body kit Hofele-design carries over the astonishing design lines by the Porsche designers and sharpens them even a bit more. The new tuning package dubbed Rivage GT 970 modifies the exterior as well the interiors of the Porsche’s sports saloon.
Behind the wheels lies a six-piston red caliper brake set with cross-drilled and vented 370 x 35mm discs. Potentially, the company can outfit the sports car with a four-piston, 342 x 34mm set of brakes instead, and they acknowledge that other disc diameters may also be possible.
The exhaust system meanwhile has been replaced with serial exhaust system coupled with Hofele 4-tube stainless steel sports muffler. The  sports car stands on 22-inch K-Series wheels measuring at 10J x 22-inch.
Engineers also fit an electronic lowering system, which brings the car down as much as 40 mm. The three-stage system works at speeds up to 80 km/h (50 mph), and has a kill switch that brings the car back to its original height.
When driven at speeds over 80 km/h, the Hofele Rivage GT 970’s lowering unit switches the ride back to its serial height to give the suspension its full comfort and stability.
All plastic parts are made of the highest-quality & heat resistant „HPG" material which received the grade "sehr gut" (A) by the German TUEV authorities and are being mounted to the original points of attachment on the Panamera. All parts are reversible.
2010 Porsche Sports Car Panamera Rivage GT 970
Other performance upgrade is the use of high-performance sport brake kit that consists of 6-piston brake calliper and perforated, inner-ventilated brake discs.
